BCL Cats

Adoptions

Located in Opelousas, Louisiana. All adoptions require an application, signing a contract to return the cat if the cat needs to be rehomed for ANY reason, and a small fee.

Donations are always welcome as the fee doesn’t cover the cost of any of the cats or kittens. All cats come spayed or neutered before they can be adopted.

Please note: We are not a 501c3 nonprofit, so donations are not tax-deductible. We are simply a 1-person rescue effort in rural Louisiana trying to give these cats better lives than living and dying outside. All cats or kittens are rescues, either abandoned at the barn, orphaned outside while young and bottle-fed, or determined to be adoptable during Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) projects. All were rescued from outdoors.

If you have any questions about a specific cat or anything else, please email adoptions@barncatlady.com. Please put the name of the cat in question in the subject line.
