Barn Cat Lady

Rochelle is the founder and writer and driving force behind Barn Cat Lady. She has a zillion and one cat stories to share. As well as experiences that drive her in this cause to help the homeless cats.

She designed this website to educate. To help people to help other homeless cats in their own communities.  After seeing so much misinformation and ignorance about the feral felines of the world, this became her goal.

Most feral and community cat groups get little funding for their TNR efforts.  It’s sad but true. Rochelle decided to inform, educate and get people motivated to do something instead of expecting someone else to fix it. We all must take a stand.

These are her personal opinions, stories, experiences, and missions!

I decided, however, then what better way to express my grief than to share with you his story and memorialize him here on Barncatlady.com. The Beginning Nutter and his sister, Chips, were born to an outside cat with one other older …

Peabody, Wonder Cat!

Come meet Peabody, my very special orphaned kitten who is not a kitten anymore! He’s now Peabody, Wonder Cat, and such a special, special boy. Peabody is a medium-haired black cat. This means he is really hard to photograph by artificial light inside and he’s always doing something seriously cute when I don’t have the best light. I don’t take …
